Hi!
I recently discovered Ren'Py, and I wanted to share the love so we organized a presentation/tutorial evening next Tuesday

See
http://actux.eu.org/Ateliers/201411RenPy for details.
If you happen to live nearby we would love to see you there

(I'm not sure, but aren't some members of Träumendes Mädchen living in Brittany too?)
My current (French) slides are available at
http://dl.free.fr/hLsKsVXJV (you might need to disable adblock for the download).
It includes an overview of different kind of Visual Novels, then guides through Ren'Py's basics.
Comments welcome!

I expected a couple cheers so I hope I didn't post to the wrong forum or something
Nonetheless the tutorial went well, people appreciated Ren'Py and I hereby forward their thanks to Uncle Mugen for the nice reusable graphics, very helpful to start playing with Ren'Py

I hope one or two among the attendees will release a game in the coming months.

Oh! That's great that you taught people about Ren'py! Also, the reason there were probably no replies is that since it's a international forum, there are not that many people on here that are french.
But anyway, how many people came to the event? I live in America, so of course I couldn't be there to see it.

We were 7 during the workshop

If I happen to organize it again, during an international event, I'll probably translate my slides in English.
(I'm wondering if other people did this kind of event already?)
