Okay... well, your problem with conversations isn't the same as my problem, but my partner recently said something to me that really helped with my anxiety and I think it might help you out a bit too.

He told me that conversations are basically like a game - in every conversation there's a goal, in your case it's "Get through a conversation peacefully.".. Everyone has 'tools' for conversations, these tools are things you've experienced, your vocabulary, things around you, things you know. Now the game is, what tools do I have that will help me reach my goal?

It's just a matter of picking the right verbal tools. If something isn't working for a particular person, you need to put that tool away for your conversations with them..
