I am jumping in -- health permitting.

Question:
What about a code base? I am making a code base for rhythm-type games (codename: Cowbell Hero) which I plan to release to the public by the end of February. Can I use it as a base for my NaNoReno project considering I will then expand it to be more of a Guitar Hero-ish thing during March?

omg i really want to do this, but its been so long and i cant even think of any ideas any more
still, maybe ill throw together something. I wanna get back into making VNs again, it was fun, i was picking up renpy pretty decently. Then I just sort of fell out of it.

Sounds totally ok to me. If I remember correctly, Jake used his RPG framework to create a NaNo entry one or two years ago.
So nice to know you keep boldly going where no Ren'Py games creator has gone before .

I'm so excited!! I've been so busy with comic conventions, book publishing, homeschooling that I haven't been active in the forum since I released A Troll's Fairy Tale but I'm so excited to give Nanoreno 2015 a shot this year! I missed 2014 but I'm back and ready to try my hand at getting another game done. I learned so much from last time and I'm so excited to see everyone's progress post and finished games <3

That sounds like an excellent idea! I have no experience with the site, but it would be great if someone could put it up.

I've put up NaNoRenO on itch.io here! Right now it's just got a countdown but after NaNoRenO starts, you'll be able to submit your games there. If there's anything else I should add to the page, please let me know! I just copy-pasted the rules that PyTom put up.

Hello! I'm the new kid~ I saw this posted over at englishotomegames.net and I decided that this year will be the year for me to do this. I've been wanting to make a VN type of project and this sounds like the perfect opportunity.

I guess I'm the type of person that needs a deadline so having a month strict deadline sounds like both fun and a challenge. I've been researching a lot and playing people's awesome creations on the forums, but I'll welcome any advice for first timers! I'm gonna attempt to do this small and by myself and see where it goes.
