Hey!
By April I am planning on converting my garden shed into a quiet work room. It will have everything I need for my work, from a computer desk to paper to a pinboard.
Is this worthwhile? I ask because I don't want to do it and it not be worthwhile.
Home office?

Re: Home office?
Earlier, I converted my den into a small writing studio. I would personally say it's a very worthwhile project! Eventually, the room begins to feel like it's your "home" of sorts.

As someone who works best in quiet places, I'd go for something like that. Will you have sufficient climate control?

Re: Home office?
So long as you're able to separate work from relaxation, I feel it would be highly beneficial. Keeping work to a designated area of the home is the best way to do it. I have a den dedicated to homework, writing, design etc... however when I'm relaxing or playing video games I don't ever go in the den. So long as you do that I don't see why it wouldn't be worthwhile.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Two words: Heat & Power
I've a garage workshop / office and whilst it's excellent when the weather is clement, over winter I was looking at -2 centigrade in there some days. (YMMV based on geography of course.) But yeah, it's worth it in the long run.
