Existential Game Jam?
I had this idea for a Visual Novel to make in between my bigger project. The VN will deal with existential themes and I want to give myself a month to do it. I'm considering hosting a game jam because not only because it would keep me motivated, but I also want to see and support others making games too.
Would anybody be interested in this? And if you are interested, would would you like to see in the jam?
It would be a month long and I'd host it in May.

I can't participate in fun like this until after I turn my tenure packet in in June/July.

Re: Existential Game Jam?
Ooh that sounds really great. I love stories that have deeper meanings than presented, especially the themes are metaphysical, so I'd definitely love to make one!
I'd really like to see a lot of group collaboration, since I'm pretty new to the forums and I feel like working with a group would better help me making friends.
I'd also just like to see a bunch of games with deep themes. That's be pretty great.

I would, but May = Exams so probably not. It's a pity, my NanoReno fell apart and would have probably fit this.

I'd love to
A new game or maybe release all of TTOL because it deals with a similar topic.

Re: Existential Game Jam?
I would definitely participate! I've been wanting to make a game with existential themes, but I could never find time between my other projects. A game jam would definitely help me find the time!

Definitely do it! Also make sure to spread the word about the game jam on places like http://itch.io/jams or other similar ones. \O/

Re: Existential Game Jam?
This sounds like a really interesting theme idea! I'd be interested in participating in it, but I'm already involved with some jams in June, July, and August.
