Jake >> That was a typo then - in fact if you find something that feels strange, then it's my fault - there was no hidden meaning or intentional word play on my side, so feel free to correct anything - and we can flag this as a "proper" English version. Or even make it a default version instead of the one I wrote. This is fine with me.

This sounds like fun ^^ I could translate it into danish if you want me to. It's kind of useless, but could be fun to have it there!

Warning: I have a cold and I'm high on menthol candies, so I can't guarantee the quality of the translation. Also it wasn't tested on humans.

If the other frenchies of the board could check it for mistakes ^^; S'il-vous-plaît !

Of course, to stay true to the French tradition, I had to add a candlelit dinner with good french wine to the proposal scene.

Vatina >> of course it's not useless, it's the point to have it in as many languages as possible ^_^. I'll add you on the list if that's okay.

denzil >> updated the list (Enerccio >> well, denzil used vizualni novela as the first person back in 2006 I think ^_^ the pioneer, so to say - but I still don't like it very much - on the other hand it sounds a little bit cooler in Czech).

monele >> next step is to replace the soundtrack with an accordeon version of the song :)
EDIT 3: Upon "reading" the French version, saw "roman visuel"! This is really groundbreaking work here, defining the future of languages.

Enerccio >> Japanese should not be a problem (if someone volunteers). There is a Chinese Ren'Py front page, so it's quite possible - though these versions will have to be shipped with special fonts, I think.

EDIT: Potentially 7 languages already :)

EDIT 2: And I have an ENGRISH flag for the special version ^_^

I actually wasn't the first one to use the term.

And now if someone would do 1337 version... :)

Edit: Couldn't resist. And was surprised that 1337 translator still exist.

denzil >> ugh, I missed that one entirely. Back then I think I didn't even know what a VN is, I only knew them as bishoujo games. It was on this forum that my understanding of VN, BG, DS and so on formed.

I updated the main page again.

It's the litteral translation of "visual novel" and I think it sounds good. It retains the concept of the "novel" (text-heavy) and the fact it's enhanced with visuals :). I really wonder if there are french people outside this forum who would have come up with other names...

I'll give the Japanese translation a shot, if that's all right with everyone. It'll be a good learning experience working with Japanese fonts in Ren'Py.

I'd like to try, even if I cannot program. I'll be doing it in Swedish, if it's ok.
script is 85% done.
Title is now "Running through water"
and will hopefully stay that way.
Need a poem/lyric?
I'll write one for ya!

日本語か?いいです。

Just kidding. I'd be interested, but we're kinda busy with Real Life right now. Also, wala man may maka intyindi sang akon nga dialect di.

Not even you my Tagalog speaking compatriots.

btw, mugen. Why "nagtatalik" for "hentai?"
How do you make your games? I see. Thank you for the prompt replies, but it is my considered opinion that you're doing it wrong inefficiently because I am a perfushenal professional. Do it my way this way and we can all ascend VN Nirvana together while allowing me to stroke my ego you will improve much faster. Also, please don't forget to thank me for this constructive critique or I will cry and bore you to death respond appropriately with a tl;dr rant discourse of epic adequately lengthy proportions. - Sarcasm Veiled in Euphemism: Secrets of Forum Civility by lordcloudx (Coming soon to an online ebook near you.)
