Meeb like 'er Waagh version.

The otaku is nice, the smileys being a clever touch, but I think it should be even more crazy. Unless this should be reserved for a *chan/intarweb version? (like, can I haz marreeage?! zomg)

Demo... I can't find "The question" in the latest Ren'py. I'm sure the others are capable of finding shortduts by programming, but Kitty only replaced the text.
script is 85% done.
Title is now "Running through water"
and will hopefully stay that way.
Need a poem/lyric?
I'll write one for ya!

monele >> I think it should be no problem if someone decides to tweak and add to existing versions - making an otaku 1.1 or something like that.

While we're at it, apart from the intarweb version, there could be a teen version - like I saw this hottie Sylvie and she was like totally cute and all, and then she like stopped and I was like damn, she's hot!

Yeah that's the same thing I did, not a programmer myself >.> And wow, comparing a script from the new Ren'Py to the old makes me appreciate the subtle things improved.

A valley girl version

"And she was like, so totally standing there and I was like, I so need to ask her a question!"

Obviously thats a rough phrase.

Hahaha. I can't believe just how many different translations people have made of this. XD I can't wait to see the final product.

One more 'just for fun' translation, and we will have more planned than the actual languages >.> I may have to consider some more machine translations if that's the case. :D

I'm going to suggest that this game be released on April 1st, 2008. I should be able to take care of integration using some Ren'Py tricks.

I'm also wondering if people would translate the menus, once I post up a new translation template.

Korina Sanchez: Ex-sensei Mel, we've met again.
Mel Tiangco: I'm expecting this from my former student.
Korina Sanchez: I know all along the reason for your presence.
Mel Tiangco: Of course. Your hairbrush.
Korina Sanchez: Snatch it again? Well, you're mistaken. It's because my hairbrush's container is packed with security features. What's your say?
Mel Tiangco: If you can do security... (pause) then 120% of my strength will shatter it!
