I could do Portuguese translation. But is it okay to only translate the script and not the menus? I don't know the methods to change that.

Why yes, if you can't do it, then there's always someone else who can do it.RidleyWright wrote:I could do Portuguese translation. But is it okay to only translate the script and not the menus? I don't know the methods to change that.

Oh, it's all good then. Since I'm not doing anything more than enjoying Brawl's OST, I guess i could start now.

As long as there is a template that make translating the menu easier, I don't mind at all to translate the menu too.
So is there anyone who can translate into Chinese (and Kantonese, one dialect in China) and Japanese? Or perhaps Korean and Taiwan, so people in all around the world could enjoy it too.

Re: Visual Novel Translation World Record Attempt!
Well, I guess the translation is done. It's pretty much a direct translation, although there were some parts that were undoable and I had to adjust or put it in a different way. And yeah, with some help i'll translate (later) the menu's too.
Btw, I didn't translate Sylvie's name. Didn't seem really necessary. And sadly, I doubt there's someone around that could give me some feedback, but oh well. Just for the sake of the record then. xD
'Hope it isn't too bad.

I can speak Cantonese, however it's only listening and speaking, not so much as writing it... (And even my speaking and listening skills aren't too great... )LVUER wrote:As long as there is a template that make translating the menu easier, I don't mind at all to translate the menu too.

There is Cantonese (traditional Chinese used mainly in HK), and Mandarin (simplified Chinese used mainly in China). Simplified Chinese, as it implies, means that some of the calligraphy is simplified.

Just on a side note to the op of the post, it's spelled Portuguese, not Portugese (could have been a typo though).

It wasn't a typo, I didn't spell it correctly.RidleyWright wrote:Just on a side note to the op of the post, it's spelled Portuguese, not Portugese (could have been a typo though).
