That's a good idea. Can you come up with a reasonable introductory post, and then I'll copy the text into a thread in Welcome!

Re: On Forum Rules and Moderation
While it might not be the culture here, I've found fuwanovels welcome thread to be more welcoming then here for some reason, and sticked links to ren'py tutorials and a break down of the threads here in general would be very helpful.

Re: On Forum Rules and Moderation
EDIT: Sorry, my post is somewhat out of context, and I didn't realize until this morning! Too little sleep last night.
My two cents: the welcome post is a great idea. It would help those trying to ease into the community. I also think there'll be more benefit with having a general entertainment forum so that it's more inviting for those who started off with western VNs and plotcentric games instead. The rest of the forum can then focus on business and development.

Could do with some help here to jazz this up...PyTom wrote:That's a good idea. Can you come up with a reasonable introductory post, and then I'll copy the text into a thread in Welcome!
Welcome to the Lemmasoft Reception Desk.
So you’ve been looking around the forums reading ‘stickys’, ‘FAQs’, and ‘welcome posts’, but you’re still not sure about things like...
in which forum/sub-forum to post your topic/question?
where you might find information on so and so?
how to start participating in the community?
Well post your question here and our friendly staff at the reception desk will help answer your question and/or point you in the right direction.
(rip it apart if you want).
