Today I was checking up on my blog, and all of the incoming links on it....when I noticed some Japanese website:
http://macgames.jp/category/game/adv/english/

It links to tons of our games, obviously they got the info from renai.us

So hooray for publicity!

i know this isn't directly related, but HOW CAN you see which websites link to your website?

The standard statistics in the CMS for my website just show me whow many visitors i've got an where they come from... and for some strange reason, about 90% of the visitors to my website come from Taiwan even though the site is completely in german

The simplest method is to install some web-stats software which will tell you - the place my website is hosted has set up AWStats, for example, which will tell you these things. I also use Google Analytics, which is installed just by putting a bit of Javascript on every page, and provides some pretty good stats.

Fundamentally, when a request is made to a webserver, one of the things that the browser can tell the server is where it got the link from; it does this in an HTTP header variable annoyingly mis-spelled 'referer'. So as a last resort, if you can't get some software in place to tell you but you can get at the webserver access logs, then you'll be able to see the referer headers in there.

And this is why I write my games in Japanese when I get done with them.

I noticed that some time ago in the links that leaded to my blog (you can see them on WordPress). I guess it's an honour to have my game on a Japanese website. ^^
