Embedding video
I'm trying to embed some videos I made and uploaded on Dailymotion, but I can't seem to successfully do it. Is anyone able to throw this old dog a bone?

Re: Embedding video
there a guideline to helping upload videos
https://faq.dailymotion.com/hc/en-us/articles/203790706
dailymotion is not like youtube where you can upload any size, frame, etc.

Re: Embedding video
This site has bbcode tags for showing youtube videos, but it seems there isn't the same functionality for dailymotion.
You can ask an administrator if he/she would kindly include [dailymotion] tags. This way you would be able to embed your video in your post, as the youtube ones.If you are an administrator on this board and have the proper permissions, you can add further BBCodes through the Custom BBCodes section.

Re: Embedding video
I'll be honest - I can't recall the last time I've been to dailymotion. I'm not sure it's worth updating and maintaining the forum configuration for such a use.

Re: Embedding video
Then let me be honest too. I've only discovered Dailymotion exists because of this thread...

Re: Embedding video
I was starting to think the same thing. It's just while youtube was going nuts over the the whole "fair use" fiasco, I don't like the idea of uploading anything there.PyTom wrote:I'll be honest - I can't recall the last time I've been to dailymotion.
