Is this a good idea?
is it a good idea to have a metal thingy inserted in my body...
recently i was in an accident and i dislocated my left shoulder...
since im used to pain a bit...it isnt really much of a bother... i just cant move it much and stuff...
inserting the metal bar or w/e it is will hasten my recovery BUT it will be extremly painful especially when it's cold...
also i've been gone a while bcos of this it took me 40 mins just to type at this point...
anyways, to those i've delayed so much...i apologize deeply...
i apologize...
edit: also i wasnt able to reply much to threads and stuff...

Re: Is this a good idea?
I long for the day when I'll be able to replace most of my wretched body with metal thingies and other circuity.
As to your question, well, it's up to you. I assume your body will dislike having a foreign object inserted, though perhaps leaving the wound untreated will be even worse in the long run?
Ask a doctor for an opinion.

Re: Is this a good idea?
Honestly, do you seriously expect to get a useful answer about your health on a forum about Visual novels? :/

Re: Is this a good idea?
I know nothing about your health except for the fact that your left shoulder is dislocated, and I bet I can say this for most of the forum members.
I don't think you should ask us for advice like this. :p

Get well soon.
I disapprove of foreign objects inserted for aesthetic purposes (such as piercings).
But I fully approve of foreign objects inserted for medicinal purposes (prosthetics, pacemakers).

well as americans say: "no free lunch" ...everything has it's price and it's advantage and disadvatage... but since none of us are medical doctors (i think) it's really a bad idea to ask us...
That's really a decision you have to make...

Agreed. Seek advice from a doctor, not random people from the interweb o_o...
Re: Is this a good idea?
Yeah, even if you're just asking if we think it's a good idea to stick a metal rod in your arm to help recovery, I doubt many (if any) of us have a degree in osteology. So, yeah, seek advice from your doctor. It's better to be completely safe and have an expert tell you what's best.
Feminine pronouns, plz.

Re: Is this a good idea?
I think the only advice I can give you is to take it easy. You may feel the temptation to be all macho and ignore the pain, but if your shoulder doesn't heal right the first time, it never will.
Take care!

Apply the Mega-potion and Elixir. It has a boosted 450 HP healing effect. You might be tapped for two more moves though.
P.S.: Another rare chance for me to get online! Yay!
P.S.S.: I might be released soon. I'll keep you updated when I can.
P.S.S.S.: I don't know what to do about this, but I don't think Kristen kicked you from the team. You can always type with another hand, right? o_o? right?
