Yuri Game Jam 2016! (Oct 1st to 31st)

Heya, last year Carrogath and I hosted the first Yuri Game Jam, which had over 30 games submitted!

So this year we decided to do this again, but with a smaller period.

This year's Yuri Game Jam is a 1 month game jam that will take place from October 1st to October 31st, with the intention of creating more games about relationships between women.

There is one rule to the jam:

• 1. Your game must focus on queer relationships between women OR the queer female experience.

Whoo! Yuri jam. I look forward to more yuri games. Though I can't really complain since I haven't properly made a game yet, I would really like some more yuri games around here. (Nyufufu, maybe I will take this chance to make something, like finally.)

I am considering the possibility of doing a prologue mini-game story for my WiP game, Seriously Senpai. I have not finalized a decision and my ability to discuss this may be limited to none over the next few days, but I wanted to get a head start on surveying for interest. By priority: art, writing and music are the big needs. I'll be programming, as shaking off the rust is part of the incentive here for me and most of the character concept work is already finished.

We noticed, because it was two months, there was a lull in the middle of the yuri jam. So we thought 1 month would be easier to manage, encourage smaller scoped projects (that can be finished in the deadline etc), etc. =)

I may create a tiny little low quality yuri game for this jam... but, if any artists would like to team up with me (hint, hint) I'm certain we could create something quite enjoyable.

I would love to do this. As a matter of fact, it's pretty much certain I'll be available to some extent... but if I'm on my own, then I'm not 100% sure if I'll join this. Let's see where this month leads me.
