Yay for mobile internet! I can now post online from anywhere in the country, so long as I have my mini laptop with me! How awesome is that?

I'm sitting in the street with random people walking by and yet I'm browsing the internet at the same time!

Maybe i'm old-fashioned, but i would think sitting in the street browsing the Internet is a bit dangerous.

I agree XD... I so wouldn't dare show off a laptop in public... Internet or not . And lol at batteries ;p. Let's just wait for Wifi charging ;p (well... wireless charging is actually possible but hm...)

He needs one of those XO/One Laptop Per Child computers with the hand crank to generate power

Btw, this "outside" thing you mention... I know I've heard that concept somewhere.....

I certainly don't hesitate to take out my laptop in public. Assuming it's not raining. It was quite nice last month to be in Regent's Park in London, sitting under a tree, technically 'working' via 3g internet access...

Actually i was more concerned about the cars. Sitting in the street is a bad idea, kids!

And then there's the additional danger of browsing the Internet in public. i suspect that if there were witnesses to what most people looked up online, the prisons and courts would overflow with people charged with indecency.

Yay! Ah, yeah... you also could do that with recent cell phone, right (as long as you have your GPRS activated)?

Did you use Wifi or WiBro? Did you pay for your mobile internet (or you always utilize free hotspot). I also consider several times to do just that since lots of place that offer free hotspot (free internet) but security reason always forbid me to bring my "expensive" laptop outside.

Just be careful with your laptop too. Better have your unique signature printed at somewhere hidden parts of your laptop.

Ah mobile internet. I love it. Especially on my mobile phone. I get the full internet. Now I can do grocery shopping for Momma AND browse the web!
