It can't hurt, although I care less about that. Everyone knows that smoking will damage your body, so people will ignore that advice. I suspect that there are people out there that might plausibly believe that disabling a firewall will improve network speed, making it more dangerous (if lower stakes).

Heh, some people still smoke despite that though. Besides, it makes you popular with the Cool Kids. Some minor lung damage got nothing to that.
