"That is what you get from a bad grade...."

#1 Post by Otaku Dash » Mon Mar 21, 2005 3:53 pm

Hiya all..... for those who notice my presence you may remember me. I haven't been able to be here because of a silght problem..... you see i am on 12º grade in school, wich in my country is the last year before the choice for an University. This is a very hard year, and for my future in informatics i need a good grade this year on Math....

Well the prob is... that in the 1st test of the 2nd term i got a 5 on my test (its about 25%...), wich is really bad..... it's not that i don't study, because i do, but i get pretty nervous before the tests so i block very often.

As a result from the grade i am prohibited to go to the net.... so that is why i haven't been able to go here.

I was able to get here becuase i needed to see my e-mail accounts before they block them out... so i came here to say that i will be unable to come for a while... i may not be able to see the new games that will come out in this months and that pains me :P, but more it pains me not to be able to talk to everyone here at lemmasoft foruns. :(

As for all, here are my compriments and regards to everyone.

A nice Easter... for everyone. :)

Sorry to hear that you're having a rough time right now. I wish you all the best.
I got really ill for my mock up exams so for the real exams I took some healthy vitamins (like Vitamin C etc.) to build strength and also remember not to overwork yourself. Rest is extremely important too and you will be able to perform better if you get enough rest and relax beforehand.
When revising put all the key points down in an appealing way, like lots of colours or little doodles that represent a certain thing so that it's easier to take in and remember.
Also have someone, like a family member or friend, quiz you. I had a family member quiz me on stuff and it really helps and having someone with you to support you is more encouraging.
Either way, I wish you all the best.

I also wish you the best. It does kind of suck for that kind of restriction. But I guess school comes first. Good luck!

Right now i'm on 2 week easter vacation... i was trying to ask the "authority" here (translation: "father") to go to the net this weeks... but by the looks of it i won't be able.... :?

However the "second in command" let me go here today....i'll check the new things in the foruns while i can.

Again... thank you all and happy Easter for all, full of joy, happiness, in the company of those who love and..... of new-game releases :P

Off-topic:Btw since on vacation (apart from studying) i am starting to work further on my Kaiser blade of the soul script.... i hope i can make this project work -> going to work in chapter releases since it looks like a big project for a begginer like me...

Oh, I think you're very much on topic with this. It's good to know it's not dead, hopefully you'll find a suitable design concept - I'd even recommend scaling down a bit (or make a side-story first). Or how about something sit-com like? I mean if it's releases in chapters, perhaps smaller self-contained episodes could be the way - so that the players (us ^_^) will have a feeling it's a complete game, but one that always can be built on etc. and it doesn't put pressure on you to release another chapter (for pressure, join NaNoRenO). Just random ideas here... Good luck.

Was wondering what happened to ya...good to know you're still around Otaku Dash! :)

I've had a slightly different problem as to why I haven't been around...ISP issues....kind of hard to post and leave messages when the ISP sees fit to kick me offline after 5 minutes! I don't THINK it's a spyware issue - I do have spybot Search and Destroy and also have Ad-adawe SE...thinking between the two of them it would alert me to problems...the firewall's up and running and AV software is up-to-date...anyone know why the ISP has hiccups?

Also, Otaku, I gotta agree with everyone here....hang in there...and before you know it, you'll be back! :)

Could easily be connection problems. What sort of connection is it? (dialup/broadband)

You could try downloading and installing the latest modem drivers, if you're using a modem.

If it's quite an old piece of kit your'e using to connect the problem could be that it's dying.

Mikey -> Well i am starting on the character bios now and i'm writing the prologue. As an improvement to the mechaninc of the game, i'm gonna try to put a Good\Evil side effect on it, i'll put more Detail in the thread. As a mather of chapter link, was thinking about a password sistem, so that players could bring al the intems and relations they had from the past chapter into the new chapter.

Musical -> Hey musical! how's it going? Thank for your tips on PK girl (although i haven't played it in a while) i already posted a Katryns ending walktrough some time ago if you are interessed.
