Hi all~ ^u^ I want to ask you about how did you guys kept your friendships going to very long periods - like years.....like..
-how much do you talk to each other in like a week and for how long?
-what do you talk about? (please list some stuff ^^' I need to know)
-what are the things you try to avoid to do/say with them?
-what do you do to keep them entertained?
-do you fear to offend them? what do you do about it? and if you really offended them, what do you do to -solve it? (please don't say you will search for new friends >.<)

I am asking this coz I used to have social anxiety before but now I am no longer too afraid of people, but the problem is that I don't know how to socialize yet and that really damaging my life in whole D'8 //I talked to a therapy but he doesn't say much helpful things

Re: Help me?
I'm so sorry about your social anxiety. As for me, I find it easier talking to people sometimes behind a screen, computer or text message. But meet up with people too, though that takes more to upkeep.
Sometimes I text my close friends only a few times a week, sometimes every day. One I live next to so I see her more often. My other I haven't seen for a few weeks because she's busy with school stuff.
Entertained? They're not a pet. . You just need to talk about what interests both of you, and what things have happened to you, day to day stuff. Take a note if you're going to forget any funny stories that happen.
I'm ADHD, and we tend to blurt out offensive things. I've lost a few friends that way, but I try everything to keep relationships going, if people want to be easily offended, that's on them.

Re: Help me?
I think you've already made progress.
Albeit, through a computer connected to the internet, your post pretty much surmises how most people would communicate.
The best advice I can give is be yourself.
If you don't feel like talking to people, don't.
If you do feel like it, then just do it, you'll be surprised to find that many people will reply. If they don't like what you have to say, leave them be and try somebody else. Eventually, you'll find somebody with similar interests and the rest kind of automatically follows. Before you know it, you've got so many friends and people you socialise with that you'll need to ask how to politely refuse some people.
