What happened to to the "Hello Hello" website?

This is the website in question: http://hellohello.dousetsu.com/

It had a great variety of free to use backgrounds, one of which I'm using in a project of mine. I went to link back to the website to give credit where credit is due, and discovered all of the links on the site seem to be broken and just redirect back to the main page. As such one can't view any of the images anymore unless they know the direct link to it like so: http://hellohello.dousetsu.com/img/free/2012/120529.jpg

I admittedly had the image sitting on my computer for years, so I have no idea when this change actually occurred or why. I guess I can still link back to the main site (as defunct as it seems to be now) but was wondering what the general protocol is for stuff like this as other sites seem to be down completely.
