Ren'py Visual novel Let's Plays?

I've been watching a lot of "Let's Play"s lately, I notice many people that do them play freeware games. Does anyone do "Let's Play"s for Ren'py visual novels, though?

To be honest I'd like to try- it looks like fun, also it'll help broadcast visual novels better as well- it's a great art form and should be recognized more. What do you guys think?

Let's Play videos or forum threads are when someone posts screenshots or videos of their play-through of a computer game with commentary, often mocking the game or their subpar skill with it or being fannish about it.

The sign on is generally "Hello, I'm Tsundere Lightning - Let's Play Ori-Ochi-Onoe!"

I particularly like Deceased Crab's Let's Play's of "The Treasure of La Mulana" and "Eversion."

And someone doing an LP of Katawa Shoujo or O3 or Black Pencil or other OELVN's of note would just be FUN.

Problem is, I'm not sure how you could let's play a visual novel very well. There's no real break in the reading to talk to people. Do you read out the text to them? Just let them read it whilst you talk about something completely different? How would it work? If you're doing something like La Mulana, or a Super Mario World hack, you can talk whilst you play as there isn't much text on screen. But the whole game of a visual novel is the text; so you'd have to let everyone read every bit. If it's got a lot of segments without text, say, a hybrid VN-adventure/RPG/strategy/whatever, then sure.

Well, there might be some good VN Let's Plays out there, I haven't really looked. But I'd be interested to know exactly how you'd do it. (I've tried making my own let's play of Zelda's Adventure, but I'm still only halfway through.)

A screencap + forum LP would be ideal for the format.

Actually, I'd prefer it on a web page so then it would still be of interest and accessible to those outside the community if the forums ever die or go down.

I know of one LP based on a game that's based on something from these here parts, even though it's Flash, not Ren'Py.
