Regarding what you said about whether male or female should matter in an online game...it shouldn't. It really shouldn't; however, for some reason there are guys who feel that a female wouldn't be as successful in the gaming world because video games tend to be skewed more towards guys' views. I know for a fact that women can play these games quite successfully - I don't think you get to be a 22-level elf-mage by luck! Yet when people find out that the person behind said elfmage is female it's always *I don't believe it*...I don't understand why the mentality is that women can't be as successful in video games as men...heck I know some women that are BEYOND avid video game players! Myself, if I find someone that is quite challenging and discover that the person is female, my assumption is *she must like games!*
And MegaManZ...shades of Zork! (wonders if anyone remembers Zork)
> musical74 looks at MegamanZ
MegamanZ looks like he's hungry
>look at inventory
you have: cupcake, lantern, and notebook
>give cupcake to MegamanZ
done
A friend is one that walks in when the world walks out.
I used to have a 36 Tauren Warrior on KelThuzad, but since I'm moving for college and was sharing an account with my brother, I won't be able to play anymore. It's a reaaaal shame, but study comes first.

*exception to the rule* =D
My avatar is some girl (don't think she's from anything, other than an artbook) by a favourite artist of mine called Mitsumi Misato.
Hmm everyone seems to realise I'm a girl on this forum.... *shrugs* At least I think so. Because on some other places, particularly when I used to play Ragnarok Online, people would assume that I got the name "Sai" from the Hikaru no Go anime/manga which features a male ghost called Sai >_>;; But I think that anime has fallen to obscurity again so less would probably assume that now o.O; I picked the name before Hikaru no Go got subbed by the way =p
i always like talking and chatting to people, especially girls(i hope no one misunderstands), online...
well, i can talk to males personally just fine...
but i tend to crash when talking personally to a girl...
i'm not afraid...i'm just...a bit...*insert appropriate word here*
I'm hidden and no one expects much of me... I just hope I don't disappoint anyone... I'd rather fail doing something I love than succeed doing something I hate...
You sure like to bring up very old topics azureXtwilight ^^;;;;
Anyway, to add something to the topic, I think everyone already knows that I'm a girl.... And earlier today I was just reminded of this quote I saw somwhere online:
"If someone in an MMO tells you that they're a girl, understand that it's really an acronym. Guy In Real Life."
The problem with MMOs and genders is linguistic, mostly, I think. Estonian, my mothertongue doesn't have gender-specific words apart from the obvious. "He" == "Tema" == "She". So in casual use, you won't really know the gender of the other person or people..
I myself am male, yet I mostly associate with females. Maybe that's somehow related to having 2 smaller sisters?

I've seen many people that think like that, and even I myself do it at times. You're red haired in my mind. ^^; Though, ehe, in some cases, that might be not too far from the truth. Since mine is a self portait of sorts. People who know me in real life have even said that it looks like me...

Haha. I'm assuming you're a lady with brown hair and glasses. Actually, my avatar looks nothing like me. It's a character for another game I'll be creating sometime. Keep thinking I'm red-haired, I like it better that way.
