Steam isn't working!!! Someone help!!!

Well... Steam isn't working for me!!! Yesterday, I switched the server from Dallas to Houston and then restarted Steam. Then, basically I was in the middle of downloading Audiosurf through Steam, and it stopped working... Then, I figured that it was my internet connection causing the problem. So, I exited Steam, and rebooted my internet connection... I then tried to restart Steam, but after clicking "Login". It reports it cannot connect to Steam... So, I rebooted my computer.... And it still didn't work... I checked the Steam Support Site, tried most of the solutions that pertain with my problem, but sadly, it didn't solve the problem. So, what do I do now?

I don't know much about steam, but maybe try to re-download and install over again?

Well, that means i'll have to redownload every game in the library... but aw well....

So it's nothing about your internet connection? Maybe your server is faulty? I hate having to redownload games, espacially when most of them are over 2 gigabytes.

Well, Steam is back online for me... so situation solved... but I have to reinstall every game in my library... so...
