Hopefully the Supreme Court will agree with the lower court's decision, which will go a good way to prevent this sort of thing from going any further.

I got mixed feelings from the transcript. It seems that the Justices show genuine concern over the broad language used by the California law, and I feel that they may decide to strike it down based on it being far too vague. Conversely, they seem to indicate that a law with more specific wording may be acceptable.

My guess is that they'll overturn the law on the vagueness issue, and then Leland Yee will immediately pen a new bill that is more specific.
