How to blend the characters into the background?

#1 Post by Leo360 » Mon Nov 22, 2010 11:35 am

I'm Leo360...
I really don't understand how to do this stuff using Ren'py.
How to blend the characters into the background?
I put the character in my game but all I got are a big square of white background.
It's not the same as the real background I put.
: (
If someone know what I mean, please tell me how...

Hm... Did you save the pictures as .png?
Because .png does dave the transparency. =o
(Of course, you have to make the stuff transparent in PS or Gimp first.)

Yeah, so if you open up Photoshop and open up your image you can use the Magic Wand tool and then click where the white is press delete and it'll remove the while from the image. Then save it as a .png file and put it back into your game and use that file. If you need anymore help, just let us know!
