I get hard copies if the game will take forever to download, so a 2GB+ game. I also agree that extras are a big incentive.

Yeah, I'm a person who has never really been really OMG MUST HAVE about hard copies unlike a lot of people I know, and essentially, the point of it is to have the extra, plus a professionally done CD on there.

xD I don't think anyone would pay more for a CD if there weren't something extra to get

I personally don't like having hard copies, they just take up space imo, but my boyfriend does in specific cases.
Like the rest of the people here, he gets them for the pretty art in the box and for the extra manuals and pictures that come inside, and he likes having them on display on his shelf.
We also like collector's editions for the same reasons.

It depends on how much I like the game. Say, if the soft copy I bought was so good, I think having a hard copy would be awesome. On the other hand, I have bought games that were disappointing. I doubt I want hard copies of those games even at cheaper price.

O yeah, just like Aleema said, I only interested in getting the hard copies if the game take forever to download. Just like IG Maker (which perhaps the only software that I interested in buying online) that as big as 1.3 Gigs, and with slow and unreliable server, and you only have 1 day to download them all. To make worse, they are all in a single file.

I mailed them and unfortunately, they don't sell the physical copy...

As everyone has already said before, hardcopies make it easier for the slower internet users.

However, I rarely have that problem, but I still enjoy having the actual physical game just for the heck of it.
