Parallel Distortion: Nichijou Kara Nigemashou
Plot:
When Harumi, a mostly ordinary 17-year-old girl, meets up with her friend in the park one day, a bright flash and a mysteriously appearing boy will change her summer holidays into something a lot more exciting for sure. Not knowing what else to do she takes the boy who claims he's a prince home with her. Help Harumi, her best friend, and their local mad librarian as they try to get the boy back to the world he belongs in.
Characters:
Harumi
A 17-year-old that can be a little out there. She's very energetic and doesn't give up quickly. Hates injustice and people who bother her friends. Has been best friends with Kevin since childhood and cares for him more than she lets on. If she could, she would just spend all of her summer holidays dreaming and dozing off in bed but due to an unforeseen incident in the park it doesn't seem like that's going to happen. (I'm still contemplating whether there will be an actual sprite for her in-game. Have this image of her for now~)
"Kevin"
Harumi's best friend and a very calm guy. Well, usually, that is. Satsuki's appearance has made him a little bit irritable although he still acts the same as usual towards Harumi. He's very carefree and doesn't pay any attention to what others say; for better or for worse. He is an avid fan of America and introduces himself as 'Kevin' at all times, due to this very little people know his real name. He likes to convince himself he's a fashion expert but that is to be doubted.
Satsuki
A boy who mysteriously appeared one day. He claims he's a prince and asks Harumi and Kevin if they know about a castle in the vicinity. It seems he is from a different universe and used some kind of teleportation magic, accidentally ending him up here. He comes off a little shy and it seems he is hiding something. Contrary to Kevin's suspicions he's a nice, caring guy though be prepared for his fury if you treat him like a kid. He likes to read and has a fascination for rain.
Ren
A part-time librarian in Harumi and Kevin's town although he spends most of his worktime daydreaming. He acts a little awkward around Harumi and his moods change frequently. For some reason he is very interested in Satsuki and almost too eager to help the trio. He lends them an almost ancient book about dimension-travel and is very knowledgeable about science and machinery. It seems like he never takes his headphones off. (Ren's sprite is still in progress so enjoy this stand-in chibi for now.)

Hah, I'm so nervous over my first VN, my first WIP thread. Please encourage me so I will finish this! I wish I weren't so good at procastinating...
So yeah, my first VN. I've been working on it on and off for a few months now, don't expect this to be finished quickly. I do promise I'll continue working on it even if it'll take years haha. I've been doing it all by myself up until now but please, feel free to offer your help for whatever; I could really use it ahaha;; All your honest critique is thoroughly appreciated. Keep in mind that I'm very new to digital art and English is my second language. I'm here to learn (:
