Just here with a few minor/major updates:
-A mini "demo*" for the game is currently being finished up.
-Certain elements have been fixed to look better.
-A warning label has been added.
-The main menu has been revamed again, this time simulating a control consel for a Committee member.
(*I use the term "demo" lightly since it's more of a guide for the game, holding a bit of the history on the Committee as well as mini-bios of the characters.)

After a couple of weeks of work, I present to you The Commodore's Guide

It has a slightly more detailed bio on all the characters, as well as some info on the Commitee and the Gamepieces (The things that make people go boom)
Currently, its Windows only. Ill upload a Mac or Linux verson if there is demand for it.

Just posting to let you know that I have been lurking this thread.

This game does have the potential to be pretty engrossing even with the familiar premise, though I'll reserve my full judgement on when the proper demo/full game comes out. If the OP and Commodore's Guide is anything to go by Morgan is by far the most interesting character, though I get the feeling it'll be Abraham that ends up being the POV. Unless this game has a ton of different POVs, in which case that would be pretty awesome.

You may need someone to proofread/spell-check, though, there were a few misspelled words here and there. I could help out there if you'd like.

Thanks for the comment. To answer about the POV, I'm writing in a 3rd person perspective since you can't really cover a Game within a game without a bit of POV change (In this case, two POV's).
Morgan really is a wild-card. No one knows what she's capable of except for Abraham. And even then, it arguable that he dosen't know the real her.

Just a small update:

The game contains 268 screens of dialogue.
These screens contain a total of 6,710 words,
for an average of 17.6 words per screen.
The game contains 1 menus.
This includes both scenaros, so you can say that the two are at about 3k words each right now. Expect this number to get bigger over the winter break.

Here's just a few things to look at while I try to gather art resources for some sort of demo. (Or should I use my art?)
