~'Til Death do Us Part~
An otome dating sim with only one obtainable guy....(?) and an itty-bitty 200 pixel window size for all your multitasking needs!
The king and queen of demons have passed away hand-in-hand, leaving their only daughter with the promise of power. The ability to rule over the whole kingdom.
...That is, if she manages to find herself a husband.
Enter the reality of the bewitching young demoness Lamia Grimoire, our fair (better yet....pale, translucent) heroine and successor to the crown. With no talents except her magic skills (and charm), she digs up her dusty old cauldron and attempts to summon herself the perfect groom! A perfect plan, you see... She ends up summoning a handsome, talented, travelling knight named Lucas Thorne!
Looks like things are making a turn from the bad to the better to the best, right?
WRONG!
Her maid and sister-figure Lenore Dogwood and her pet bunpire, Morte, learn that her husband-to-be was a hunter sent by the humans to slay the strongest demon in the land. Preferably the king....but he was already dead.
It was a simple process of elimination. The king was dead, and the queen was dead...Leaving Lamia as the strongest demon in the immediate area! uh-oh!
With her supposedly-perfect scheme foiled, her fate almost sealed, and the man destined (or at least, commanded) to kill her sleeping in her very bedroom, what is she to do next? Take that bottle of poison she brewed as a child from the closet after all these years? Practice her fighting and eliminate the threat to her kingdom like a hero? Or perhaps....let her heart do the choosing, and die in the hands of her knight?
Is there a way to change this compromise of vows into a dream come true before the wedding bells end up being used for a funeral....?
Characters:

Lamia Grimoire: Her four horns and floating amethyst are the birthmarks and signs of her royal blood....if the lilac silk and velvety-violet curly locks of hers don't already make a royal statement.
Lamia is a teenager who lived a very sheltered life and never really learned to do anything except conjure a few spells and whip up a few potions...Thus, her housekeeping and cooking skills are very unworthy of a bride-to-be. Talents and lack thereof aside, she is a pretty charming character, and inherits her beauty from her father, as well as extreme stamina and determination from her mother. (You were probably expecting that to be the other way around, huh?)
Not much is known about her personality, as she was only ever introduced to the public as the princess a couple of months before the tragic death of her parents. Not even she knows why or how they died.
Lucas Thorne: A handsome (but rather...un-expressive) young man who was sent to kill the leader of the demons. Apparently, Lamia's summoning made everyting easier and harder at the same time. Confused about the emotions he hardly ever felt before, as well as the important task assigned to him, he tends to stutter and stumble with words. He is also known to some as the "Merciless Demon-Slayer", and yet all he has to say about this is that he's much better at slaying vampires.
Despite his behavior and background, Lucas is a very good at cooking and cleaning, and is very resourceful.
Maybe that's one of the reasons why he was "the perfect prince for Lamia".
Morte:
A bunpire....AKA a Bunny-Vampire.
He's affectionate, but has a very short temper and hates everything about Lucas.
Lucas, on the other hand, likes to tease him from time to time.

Lenore Dogwood:
Lamia's personal maid with an interest in the writing of a human named "Edgar Allan Poe".
She's doll-like in appearance and quite emotionless, and she tends to appear literally out of nowhere when called for.
She is loyal only to Lamia, and is willing to risk everything for her happiness and wellbeing. Now, if something Lamia wants to do is threat to herself....that's when things start getting messy.
Cloaked Young Man and Three Other Mysterious Young Men:
Here only for a cameo appearance. Also known as the Mugendai Daigaku student council in an alternate universe. lol.
Check out the group in Deviantart! It's an awesome RP (and the slots are currently closed....thank goodness I got in)
I got credit from their owners to put them in here!
They retain more powerful versions of their roles that fit the setting a bit more. Cue the literal emperor role!
Lemme just say I'm giving lots and lots of thanks to SilverSporkSama for doing most of the coding and interface shizzazles here *^u^* And that I'll be needing someone to work on the sketches of the male sprites, as well as a CG artist. but that's for the recruitment area, if I remember.
FEEDBACK FOR MY FIRST PROJECT, PLEASE....?
