I think black hair suits him better since he has a bad boy attitude and you also mentioned something about goth. Maybe you could say that he was blonde when he was little but as he grew up he became rebellious and dyed his hair black.

Looks great! Could you perhaps update the original post with the new art/progress percentages? I know a lot of people go to the first post to see a general status update, and might turn away if they think it's still much earlier in development.
