On the journey towards your ultimate decision, will you be able to survive and conquest the throne or will you run away and find peace?
Find your romance as you navigate through obstacles and challenges that await you in this fairytale.

Your overall basic plot and characters are very brief. Once you finish writing the story, I'm sure you will have more to say. I suggest giving some kind of plot twist to make the story interesting so that it is not just "another visual novel" game. The foundation is solid and can be built upon even more too. I can't wait to see how these characters interact with one another and how their roles play into the story plot.
As a suggestion, but I think you should put up some sketches of the characters so that it grabs more visitors. Those are usually the teasers but they're eye-candy

Every character will have their own past and that will affect on how they act. And of course I will have more to say ^^
This is just a very brief explanation of how the vn will be.

Well me and wingzofdarkness have been working these days. Especially with the sprites. ^^

But we've also planned the story better, and we've decided to add a new character: Vincent.
He's the queen's most trusted knight and the person she relies on, now that her husband has passed away.

The story sounds interesting, I'll be stalking this ^^
Question: Is the Queen out to eliminate the MC?

On the main paths, yes she is. ^^
Oh and if someone is wondering, no, we won't show the whole sprite here.
We will save that for the game. ^^

So the Queen wants to kill the MC just so she can stay Queen? Or is it more of a revenge thing, like Hera and Hercules? I only ask because it does stray into rather complicated inheritance reasoning. For instance, in general western rule, the Queen wouldn't stay Queen as long as there was an heir, which, depending on gender bias, would include any of her children to the King, any of the Kings siblings and any other acknowledged relative that stood in the way. So basically there is usually a very long line of heirs, especially if you include females, and a bastard child would have a hard time proving their parentage if they did not have solid proof. The public is more likely to accept a King'd brother who has been a known, than a noble who happens to claim parentage after the King dies. Of course, there are ways round this, what it is something to think upon to avoid plot holes.

She does it to prevent her from trying to steal the throne (even though it would be almost impossible to get it, as you said), and to obtain revenge because his husband slept with a 19 years old girl (the MC's mom). It's just the perfect moment to kill her, since the king can't do nothing at all. (Well, of course; he's dead.)

But wouldn't the Queen first go after Colette?

No, because she understand her. For her, the guilty one is her husband (Who had also slept with many other girls)

Than why go after the MC? She is even more removed from the situation. If the Queen is okay with the other woman as it were, she would most likely accept the child. I think it would be better to stick with a more logical inheritance route if you are not going to make the Queen angry at everyone.

Hey, thank you everyone for the feedback. It helped us clear and fix up the loop holes that seemed to be misunderstood by everyone.
We have worked the story with so much effort and created it so everything flows well. Unfortunately, I did not clear the misunderstandings about the true antagonist of the story with Kairyn. No, the Queen was never the antagonist of the story. She is an obstacle, yes, but not the villain. You will have to wait and play it to find out the true villain =] No spoilers.
As for the Queen figuring out who the daughter is...the Queen is not evil. She is good friends with Colette (the Protagonist's mother) and has kept in touch about the daughter. Colette had the daughter before the King married the current Queen. It's complicated but everything will make sense when you play out the story. There are reasons for how every event and relationship occurs but I will not type everything here >.< But trust me, we have solid foundation for 95% of the story.
You should also remember that characters develop throughout a story. So as that happens through this story you will understand why/what/will happen, and how things unfold or are cleared up. So expect lots of surprises =]
