Ava is an average girl. She is quiet in school, doesn't cause trouble. Has a couple friends, but nothing really close. On short, she's a loner. And she isn't happy.

After being shipped from foster home to foster home, Ava started to feel as if she was unloved. When people at school ignored her completely, she started to feel unwanted. Now, she's seventeen and hating life.

Then, she happens to meet a mysterious man, in a less than admirable way. He tells her, he is a half demon and the emptiness in her heart drew him to her. Now, he has a proposition and it's something Ava has always wanted.

To be wanted. To be loved. To have some one who actually cared.

But the price is more than Ava would have originally been willing to pay. He tells her that he longs to become a full-fledged demon and the only way that is possibly is if he takes the heart and life of a human. He says that she must give him the heart of the first person who falls in love with her. Being bound by a blood pact, Ava can't refuse. Will she be able to make someone fall in love with her and then have him killed?

Otherwise known as Ava. She is quiet to the others at school. When she does speak, it is usually sarcastically. When it comes to guys, Ava is usually clueless. Guys had always been her friends, so she doesn't know how to make them fall in love with her. Really, resents Camry, especially when he becomes popular.

Camry is the half demon the finds Ava. As a half demon, he can't return to hell, so, for the time being, he is living in Ava's closet. He decides to go to school with Ava because the puny little humans interest him. He instantly becomes popular and girls fall for him, growing jealous of Ava. He's very sarcastic and snide and, for some reason, seems to enjoy annoying Ava. His favorite food is pancakes.




Danny is the most popular guy in school. At least, until Camry comes. He immediately takes a dislike to Camry, something he and Ava have in common. Camry tells Ava that he thinks Danny would be a good target, but she's not so sure. He might be, but how would she get the second most popular guy in school with a flock of fangirls following him to fall for her?




Marie is very quiet and very smart. She spends most of her time studying in the library. As a result of that, she's the valedictorian for the junior class.




Peter is a delinquent. There's just no other way to put it. On the few days he actually show up to school, he spends most of the time outside, doing who knows what. He could be a good target, Ava thinks. After all, who'd miss a good-for-nothing like him?




You know those kinds of people who are just crazy? Hyper all the time, energy never seeming to run out? That's Krista in a nutshell. She's a track runner and is one of the best, what with her never ending supply of energy. She's one of the few people that tries to talk to Ava, even if she does scare her shitless.

Sprites: Remy - I know they're not very good >_< Especially Camry's. His shading got really messed up but I didn't have time to fix it. They were drawn with GIMP and my mousepad :p I'm going to redo them later. If you have any tips or help, please feel free to offer it or redline. I really wanna get better .-.

I started off with this as a KN, but then I got to thinking that this might be a good VN. So, I think I'll make it a VN, since that's what people seem to prefer ^-^

Unfortunately, this is currently on hiatus on account of school having starting back and the massive amounts of beta testing I'm doing and writing I have to do for Pickles and Strawberries.

Sounds interesting Personally, I think you should make it into a VN, but you know, it's your project, you can make it a KN if you want to.

His name is Camry?! Awesome! What's his year, color and trim level?

I would give my advice on VN or KN but I'm slightly confused as to the plot of your story. Why would Ava make a pact in the first place? Either way, she has to work by herself to make someone love her, right? If there was a specific person she wanted and the question was "Will she kill someone else to get him" that would make more sense to me. Or am I missing something?

Well, as to why Ava would make the pact.. Camry kind of threatens/blackmails her into it. I didn't want to reveal too much but it'll all make sense later on. And what you said does make sense..O.o

The current story ideally fits as a kinetic novel, but if you want to make it a visual novel, it is possible. You would have to expand on the character backgrounds and the story, of course. As long as you're okay with doing more work, then I think you should turn this into a visual novel because I, personally, would like to engage myself into this story =]
