Quotes from songs... The laws here are quite complex and different from country to country.
In theory - you are almost always breaking the copyright. There are exceptions here - parodies, things that are considered "fair use" and "derivative work" (where things get really complicated).
Practically - for non-commercial project, the law is the same... But, the copyright holders don't bother to pursue non-commercial infringers. They would have a very hard time proving you caused them any damages.

What I meant with "The Players" was the graphics text in the first post. I missed the "P" (thinking it's some fancy "L"). With "a" to "o" and "y" as "v" - it can be read as "The Lovers". But since it's a dating game, it still makes sense...

Oh wow, I adore your characters! Their descriptions are so detailed and you've clearly mapped out their personalities in depth.
I think I'll have to try out for all of "the Obtainables", because I really can't choose which one's my absolute favourite. ;D
Also, I enjoy how the evil half-sister is named Jezebel.

Update!

h3llomiko sent me an email yesterday that had me jumping in my seat for ten minutes straight. She'd started on the art for the game! She said they're the sketchiest sketches but, I thought I'd show you guys how they're coming along.

Yeah, totally random... but Camp should wear a kilt. You'd never guess how common it is in the game industry, plus if you have him help out at something like the Game Developer's Conference they actually have a "kilt day" where everyone wears kilts for a day. I could also be saying this because *I* happen to wear kilts, but at least I'm being honest.
