This game is a work in progress (:
So far, there are no choices in the demo (which is about 5 seconds long hahaha) but there will be choices and multiple endings in the real game.
And the end product is going to be really short! This is just me testing out programming, really, so don't download expecting an epic adventure ;P
I'm the writer, artist and programmer for this! Unfortunately I don't know any good places to get music, so the game is silent for now. Any help would be appreciated.

You wake up and you don't know where you are, who you are, and for a split second, what you are.
All that's on your mind is the one searingly important thought: You have to get out.
This is you.
You don't know your name, or where you're from, or anything else of use.

Love, love, love the art <3
Reminds a bit of fallout, except cleaner.
I will give the demo a try out later (when I'm not at work >_>)

Thanks! I'm not bothering with shading or anything for the sprites, it takes up too much time I just want to get as much done as possible.
Okay cool

Feedback is <3 (although I probably won't know how to implement any suggestions haha)

I played it through, and it was great - and by great, I mean super-fantastically-EPIC. The art is pleasing to the eye, the interface is beautiful, and the story is rather intriguing. I really enjoyed it even though it was short. ^^
(I especially liked how the camera got its own side portrait.

)
Keep working on it, what you've got so far is very good.

Oh wow well that's very kind feedback! Yeah, I really enjoyed customising everything. Once I figure out how to customise the main menu and preferences I'll be a very happy bunny indeed (:
I'll definitely keep working on it. I just want to finish one game hehe.

Jamendo also has pretty good music.
In regards to the demo, the expressions 93 makes amuse me. In that vein, while 'you have no memory and must escape the _____' story has been done before, my playing of The Experiment - 112 inclines me to want to play this.

Thanks for the music sites, much appreciated!
@Mink: Yeah, it's a cliche story, I just wanted to do something simple to start with

I need to check out this Experiment thing then, so I don't inadvertantly copy o__o

Well, considering in The Experiment -112 you don't so much control a character as much as you play as yourself, watch the OTHER person through cameras, and direct her with lights/machines, you're probably going to be fine.
Though if anything, it's a good example of using a pretty done story and still making it interesting (seriously, this game started to really go into WTF territory).

Just looked it up and it looked AWESOME.
Also, completely different from my little short story so all is well (:

Haha wow this is really cool. The camera/message was my favourite part of the story so far (homage to GLaDOS?). I'm not part of the target audience for this sort of story, but I'd be tempted to play more. The art is great and I love the backgrounds. The colours really pop while being kind of soft at the same time? It's a nice effect.
Also, try
http://freemusicarchive.org/, but be careful of the license types because they vary and many tracks can't be used in something like a game.

I'm going for blue/orange like Portal was. And yeah, the camera is a mix of GLaDOS and Cave Johnson ... man, I sound like a fan. The story is actually nothing to do with Portal, I just used it as a bit of inspiration.
Thanks! I'll check that out (:

Enjoyed your demo! Like the others, I think the art looks great! You've got a good eye for color and style and I thought the design of the protaganist is very original and refreshing. Although it's obvious the setting and many elements and phrases are reminiscent of Portal 2, which you admit you took inspiration from, I'm looking forward to how you'll put your own twist on this. You've definitely made me curious and I can't wait to play this when it's completed! Goodluck!

Thanks salis! I'm glad people are liking the art, cause it's a bit sketchy. I want to focus more on the programming than doing endless resources (hence the lack of shading/rendering on 93)
Today, thanks to
Aleema's amazing tutorial, I did a bit of button customising. It's a bit n00by but I like it (:

Really liked the game so far, it made me laugh which is really good for a VN and it was only 5 minutes long, color me impressed.

Yeah I basically thought of the GlaDOS figure basically the what if GlaDOS was Cave Johnson which is cool because Cave Johnson is quite an awesome character. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!
