This picture is as good as anything I've seen in any of the commercially translated games. Full stop.

Excellent, from the first time I saw her, I thought that half-frame glasses would suit her better. I would maybe even try frameles, and slightly more contemporary design (a bit less height, more of a rectangle than square).

BTW, I'm still waiting for a game (or even a picture) that would have the skewed effect with glasses - it's true that modern glasses have the breaking technology that lets you see the eyes normally so that if you take the girl's glasses off (what am I saying here...), their eyes don't feel different - but that usually works face-to-face. Even the modern glasses still distort the background and eyes when you look at the girl from the side.

Well, ramblings. The picture is excellent, just in case it didn't really come across. :?

Similarly, I'm always happy to proofread stuff for people when I have the time. The last couple of months have been pretty busy - I've barely made any progress with my own projects - but I should be more or less clear of that...

I'm curious - are your backgrounds rendered from CAD/3D models or hand-drawn? They have a bit of a CAD look to them in terms of structure, but a lot of the detail has a kind of warmth to it that isn't usually associated with automatic rendering... and I'm sure there was something ever so slightly odd about the perspective about the café-front from a while ago... If you're doing them entirely by hand, getting all those shapes right is certainly impressive!

After 2 days of sulking on some dark corner of my house, I finally managed to overcome my (tiny) depression and started drawing again.
