Well, Feathered Melody Productions has been working for the last oh... 5~ish months on our first project (Crows Project is it's short name). It's not ready for release yet, but I just wanted to show what we've done so far. It's a linear visual novel.

The story is about a simple farmer who meets a boy that lives with crows.

These are from our latest build and the profile art is being handled by Jamuko. These are just the sketches that have been completed.

The story seems interesting, and the character is rather detailed. It will surely look good when finished.

Now THIS sounds interesting. Even the title drew me in immediately. It'll be great to play it when it's done. By the way, who's on the team? Anyone we know, or all newcomers to the forums?

Thanks. ^^ We're all newcomers to this. Some of us are from the Namco Tales Forum, and there are a few others I've gathered here and there. I think I'm the only one on these forums though, but I can ask the rest of the team if they could sign up.

Dev team is as follows:

Me - Writer/Programmer
Jamuko, AnimeSenko - Art
Laogeodritt - Music Composing
Clowezra, Lady Aurion - Editing / Advice / Helpers

And several other people play testing and advising and helping.

So it's released to the public!:O Anyways, not being biased or anything, but it's great novel. You've gotta read it, Fawkes' story is beautifully written. It may be slightly short, but you'll be hooked.

Argh, it took me so many tries of logging in before I realized that it was case-sensitive. XD

This is a very short visual novel, but as our first project I think (and hope) that's understandable. XD Fawkes's story is indeed beautiful, and it has been an honor to be able to work on the project as I have. ^^

Well thanks everyone. ^^ I hope you all like it when the day of release comes. I don't want to give a concrete release date, but I think it should be ready to go by spring of this year.

To give you all an idea of how things are going: The script and coding is pretty much done, as is the interface stuff. There are probably a few tweaks when the final media comes in. Among some other minor things, art and music are the places that we're still hard at work on.

Hello again~ I am back with an update on arts!

Here is the inked lineart that I have completed. ^^ (Colors to come.) I put them into an animation so you can easily see the range of emotions.

It'll be nice to have it be animated also within the game, maybe going in between 2 postures at a time, I dunno.

Just that it looks neat here.

The lines are really clean now. Vectorized, I presume?

I'll think about the animated mouth in-game O_O that might be nice, like Phoenix Wright has. XD

And actually, the lines aren't vector ^^ just free-drawn at a higher resolution in Photoshop. I can't stand working in vector honestly (with character art, at least). XD

It is fun working as a team ^^ but it's not without its issues too. XD Everyone has lives outside of the project and more pressing things like schoolwork to worry about, so it can be kind of difficult to keep on schedule.
