hello i'm new here!
i've been coming to this site a few times before i registered and I have to say that there are a lot of nice information that I can use to make my ideas a little stronger. Though it's too early for me to post or to make anything VN related. But theres this idea that I wanted to show before I really think I should keep this idea. It's an otome game with a mix of RPG. Feel free to drop your opinion.
Summary:
Some where in the near future, there's a device that allows you to explore the mind of an individual, literally. It is called the PD and it transfers you into a person's psyche, which will let you understand the person better because of the imagry shown represents the person in their daily life. Due to the usefulness of this device, people have to pay a fee each time they use it, mostly for medical purposes. Currently, it's being tested for playability for the gaming industry, but has yet been confirmed....
The protagonist just came back from the city to her hometown of 5 years ago. This has been decided because of her father's work. She also transfers to a school that is on the same county where she lived in. She is excited but worries that the friends she had before would not care enough to remember her. Fortunately, she was able to reconnect with old friends as well as make new ones. One of the new friends, Natalie, is a piano prodigy and she seems to have a perfect life or is she?
As time passes, she is doing well with school and friends. One day, she met a strange boy who asks if she can play an arcade game with him. What we find out about our heroine is that she has a phobia of electronics that has flashing lights, because she had an epileptic seizure she once had. The boy forces her to play and shows her that videogames aren't that bad, but the heroine still refuses to associate herself with electronics.
Lately, Natalie has been acting strangly and was suddenly found unconscious. She was taken to a hospital and she is considered to be in a coma. The doctors can't find what caused her to be in this state, until one of them suggested that there was a psychological cause. There find this more likely to happen and they suggest in using this device called the PD, but it costs a lot of money to use it. Natalie's parents couldn't afford to do this because are in a tight budget right now......
That is until a young man came to the heroine and offers her to use his version of the PD, with enhancements. He lets her use it for free in one condition, she has to be the one that tests it.
