The prologue is great, so I presume the script will be great too. The music sounds great. If you can manage to find a decent artist this is going to be a masterpiece! I'm really looking forward to it. I can only hope you'll manage to release the game sometime soon

We found eclipse... does that count? ^_^
@eclipse: Wait and see until you play it. Then you'll hear which pieces we took.

Latest status report: Art is in the making, music is all complete, plot is missing the last 5 scenes (endings are already written). As ToL2 is still being worked on, there's no telling when Metropolitan Blues will be completed. Blue Lemma is our only programmer, and I trust him to do this better than anyone else, so I can only hope we will have a complete game by late autumn or early winter. Note that I will not give out a definite schedule - we have a work plan, but I don't want to disappoint anybody by revealing it now and breaking it later.
Oh... and one last thing: The game will probably be PG-13. No graphic nudity at all, but a few situations with erotic or sexual allusions. NOT humorous allusions, though. This is not Scary Movie.

When everything gets to me, I'll drop all my other projects (temporarily) and knock out the program. It should be a piece of cake

Programming's my specialty, after all

Wonderful! Looks like everything is coming together nicely. Late autumn is more than enough time, I think, as winter isn't officially until December.
But I think I'll knock off more finished art this weekend to get this moving a bit faster. ^_^

Good luck with putting a "label" like that on the game. I have omitted it completely with mine, (I just state that it is non-h and that's it), because I don't know how to classify all those things. Like when the screen is black and and the
text is about making love. Or you have a girl with big breasts. That is OK, even in Pokemon. But imagine a text saying "I stared at her big breasts." Would that be PG 13 or 16 suddenly? I never know...

Anyway, it looks like you're on your way, so I keep my fingers crossed and hope for a nice Christmas present

Exactly how large do you plan your plot to be?

To quote myself from my first posting:
Approximate playing time will be 1/2 - 3/4 h per session.
The full script will have around 25000 words. The plot branches in three places, and each branch leads to different conclusions. All in all, I think replayability should be rather high, with eight different endings.

As I am writing these lines, the completed script is on its way to Blue Lemma. Eclipse has already done quite a bit of the artwork, we have the music, so I'd say the project is now 70% complete. The programming can start now, and I'm confident we'll be seeing results until the end of October or November.

I'll add my "Go for it" reply as well. Honestly meant, though

. Two months left... *sits down and waits*

Maybe one month, depending on how fast Blue Lemma and eclipse work and whether I decide to revamp a few of the endings ^^ But trust me on that, we'll all be doing our very best.

For the time being, I seem to have genuinely confused Lemma with the plot diagram - he mailed me and had me explain the whole story again ^^ Looks like this is going to be more complicated that I thought.
