A trailer!

This is to show basically that theres some other bits to the game besides running a shop because like bloodywyvern says, it doesnt actually say anything about this in the synopsis.
Hope you enjoy.

ah thats a good point... the hat! Well the writer got the videos sorted so if he wants to show that I wont stop him.
He usually doesnt like the slightest bit of spoiler in anything.

good trailer there, shows some of the nice asspects of the game. im sure if people picked up the demo and tried it out without assuming they know what the games like from the get go theyd acctaully enjoy it as there is obviously more than there seems to this game.
when the game gets its first major route out which will kind of end hopefully more people will try it out

I'm afraid I'm not much of a demo player (I either get bored because I know I can't reach the end or too excited and horribly impatient to see the whole thing), but from the video, it looks really nice and visually effective. Keep up the good work! :)

Bored of uni work, so I redid one of my fav character drawings.

My last hand in is the 14th may so soon ill be able to do some more work on the game through the summer. Though ill probably have a full time job aswell so its spare time work rather than last yeah where I had loads of free time.
On the other hand im better than I was a year ago and I think if should show.

Just a quick update. I've finally finished Chapter 2 of Ruri's route. Next is Chapter 3, in which a new character will be introduced! I'm hoping to finish the next chapter a lot quicker than this one; I'm looking forward to when the first route is complete and I'm hoping at least a few others are as well... As usual, I'm still wide open for feedback from the demo, or at the very least an acknowledgement that people are finding it worth playing...

I don't think I've commented on this yet, but I just want to stop by and say I am watching the progress of this game with great anticipation. The premise looks really good, and the trailer gives me high hopes. I'll be trying out the demo sometime soonish, and I look forward to this project's completion. ^-^

As far as I know theres four chapters to a route, so he is halfway through ruris.

I added up the total wordcount until now and knocked a few thousand words off for the art descriptions I added for SD's benefit. So that's in my signature now, I came out with around 133k words.
As for my progress, I've already finished the first day of chapter 3 and am currently working on the second. One important thing I think players should know is that when you pick a route the game becomes a KN, so in other words no more choices. Of course, I originally planned to have them, but I decided to cut them out because this work is turning out to be very large indeed.
But I'm hoping that it'll be well worth it in the end. I'm counting on lots of feedback when Ruri's route is released, so keep an eye on this space!

Aww, no more choices at all? That's a bit sad, albeit understandable ^^;. My biggest concern is the difference it'll create between the first part and the (supposedly) longer second part. But I know that even just creating a few flavor choices (followed by one or two specific lines) would be a lot of work while not bringing a lot to the table ^^;...

Just to clarify, we're still planning on making all of the routes. By what I said earlier, I meant that once you've picked one of the routes then it becomes linear with no branches. You could just think of the routes as insanely long endings.

Now for an estimation of how long Ruri's route is going to take. Of course, I'm useless when it comes to estimations so don't put too much faith in this. If I keep the pace I'm currently working at, then it should take about a month to complete Ruri's route. Once hers is finished, I'll immediately begin working on the next character's. Their route intertwines with Ruri's so it shouldn't take quite as long.

Once both of those routes are finished, I'll probably put up a poll to find out which character's route people want me to write next. Of course, I'm hoping that enough people will play it to make a poll worthwhile... Anyway, here's hoping that Ruri's route will be here for download in a few weeks!

Just confused about something : you said the Ruri route would include another character. I assume it meant "another main girl". In that case, since there would be no further choices, does it mean the ending is not a one-girl ending?
