DaFool: That certainly sounds like dhf. I had hallucinations too during my battle with dengue. Sometimes I'd imagine myself walking down a familiar street, then the next, I'd be in some final fantasy setting and always feeling nauseous and disoriented.

No need to push yourself too hard, DaFool. There really isn't a hurry, so if you need the rest, take it. There's a number of other things that we're waiting on, so don't feel like you're holding anything up. We're still working on the art, and perhaps a few other details...

Speaking of art, all the sprites are done (for Melissa anyway, but I don't think the side characters will be making appearances outside of event cgs anyway...). All that's left are the backgrounds and the event cgs. Well "all that's left" is still a pretty big list though...

The last leg of scriptchecking ~ lines 3900 - 4500. Dunno why it's taking me so long, maybe I sort of expect everything to wrap up so I'm a bit tentative going through the outlined plot and correcting the grammar.

Heh, as I am nearing the finish line, I'm taking longer and longer... must be the plot resolution anticipation factor.

Still working on it... I have to get in the mood, it's not something I can just do during free time at work (similarly, the most recent VNs are something I have reserved for my undivided attention for the weekend)... as these kinds of works deserve.

This weekend... I promise... I hope

PMs to links sent.

Really sorry for the delay, but you can be assured I was in the mood while working on it, rather than doing a half-assed job so I can get it over with. Most of Enerccio's plottings were kept as-is, just a lot of grammar juggling.

Received some suggestions via PM specifically for me, but I feel the need to relay to all staff for opinions (especially the opinion of the boss of Bishojo Games, Enerccio ^_^).

For the music, it seems the following will suffice:

1. Slice-of-life everyday track
2. Slice-of-life alternate track
3. Sad track
4. Dramatic track
5. Araiah's / Melissa's song
6. Game Opening song

The problem with 6 tracks is that while it fit perfectly for Project Nattsu (7K), lacked around 2 tracks for NT (based on a comment or two) (23K). But this game is (*drumroll*) nearing 34K. Unless... those slice-of-life tracks are long... like jazz long (6-7 minutes) or even classical long (8-10 minutes) instead of ~2:30-3:30.

This is doable. Because if the soundtrack is going to be like 10-12+ tunes, then we'd have to go non-original and pick up some creative commons stuff.

So I was up later than usual for me last night rereading the proofread script, and I have to say I'm beyond impressed. DaFool, you managed to improve it by leaps and bounds, even in the instances where it was only a grammar issue. But the style emulation is dead on, and the characters even more so. I haven't quite gotten to editing it, for consistency, style, and a few other details, but from the look of things, there won't be much to do. Again, I'm really impressed at revised script. Almost feels like a different story (and a good one at that!).

I have to thank Enerccio for the story... he knew EXACTLY where to take the plot. I wouldn't know how to proceed otherwise. I merely filled in the holes.

I have to step down from musician position, since real life is getting to be hectic. Really sorry. Enerccio, how about from CC-licensed sites? It's a shame that SOA won't have it's own original song.

EDIT: Oh, and you can compose too.

In an effort to reduce a bit of the work load off our artist, we're looking to recruit someone to do the backgrounds for this project. I know being a background artist isn't necessarily the most fun of jobs out there, but we would really appreciate the help. There are quite a number of backgrounds needed, most of them taking place indoors (the only real location being a single mansion). Most likely, you'd need to be able to coordinate with our artist who doesn't frequent the forums too often, so the preferred method would be via AIM or something similar. If anyone's interested, feel free to post or PM either me or Enerccio.

Right, so while I'm here, a brief status report? I'm going over the script and corrected a few consistency errors in the half I wrote, matching things up with the details Enerccio wrote and the now solid images of the characters appearances. We've also written a small number of short side story extras, mostly out of boredom, but also to give our characters a chance to play around in even more outrageous circumstances... I have yet to finish writing the one serious side story though, I'll try to wrap that up sometime soon. There are a few backgrounds done already, but there is still a lot of work left to do there, and with the cg work not earnestly started yet, we do need the help, if there is interest. No real good idea on what we're gonna do about music, but that isn't as high on the priority chart right now. Ahh, I guess that's about it for now...

yvanc and I have talked (he's probably as busy as I)... I'm (back) in.
While he's using Lightwave, I'll just max out on Photoshop following his style and textures.
BGs are still easier to make than good music.
Drake: no idea yet about look/feel of manor. I'm thinking it should be your decision.

Hello, I've decided to spend the entire month of October and November to study and review for the JLPT exam this coming December. I'll resume the development of this project after the exam. Sorry about this. :(

Dafool: If you want you can continue the development without me. Just discuss it with drake and enerccio.

Drake and Enerccio: I leave the rest up to you.
