Hyperion, the making...
"After gaining consciousness, Takaya(Current hero name) found himself alone. As he wondered what happened before he lost consciousness, he was put into a mortal danger by a secret organization..."
Title: Hyperion
Genre: Bleak Tokusatsu
Rating: Should be Pg16(Animated gore and nudity)
(Tokusatsu - A term to which refer to masked superheroes who sought for justice. It is based on the first company, Tokusatsu, which started the trend.)
Speculated stuff
a) Endings - Many dead ends will be included, since this is a survival story.
b) Heroines - A total 3 heroines. Up to three possible routes.
c) Bleakness - Not as serious as in Winter Shard, partly because Takaya is rather humane.
d) Plot - Only drafts for the time being.
e) How it is played - I might include other keys aside from the mouse. So it might be frustrating for some...
What challenge from making a game as this:
a) Of my current knowledge, there are nil superheroes vn games, safe for The Elect. And no, vampires and the likes don't count as superheroes.
b) The coding difficulty for a high interactive game.
Some might think that this might look way too alike with Nafai's The Elect. While I have to admit that both are about superhumans, but it is like trying to relate Spider-man with Kamen Rider(Masked Riders in english, but I prefer not to call it that instead of the butcherity that is Saban.)

I thought this was based on one of my favorite books as recommended by Yuki Nagato and given to Kyon ...

My disappointment is palpable, since it was an inspiration to me personally to get me back into sci-fi.

I'm not even the same person anymore

I think you got the comparison right - the Elect is more western superheroes and this seems more... Guyver-ish? Zetaman-ish? But hey, even if it were similar, I'd still really be looking forward to it - I love me some world-saving action with my ren'ai
I'm glad to hear it'll be a tad lighter than WS. That way I won't be afraid of getting too attached to the characters
Good luck with this!

@ Ignosco and BCS: Well, if anything, I base the name on the greek titan. But only by the name.
@ Nafai: Heh, since Takaya is not working under an overlord, I doubt he needs to think all work and no fun.
Hopefully you don't mind since this might sound alot like The Elect.
@ monele: Thanks, I shall not disappoint you.

Regarding the game, I am thinking about making some battle system for it. Not rocket science, that is sure.

Re: Hyperion, the making...
Progress has been under hiatus due to last few months of university life, and I insist on a making nice design for the armors and so.
Attached is a first attempt. Yea, I know, poor color choices.

Re: Hyperion, the making...
It looks nice. And the colors are not forcefully bad... it depends what kind of mood you want to give to this. The white here gives a pure or neutral look. Very knight-in-armor actually.

Good to see work is progressing ^_^
I think you need to make the torso portion more... chiseled I suppose I should say. (It looks a tad flat). Otherwise, not bad at all

Re: Hyperion, the making...
After a rather long time, here is something for preview...(Work of a feverish guy who has yet to even know how to use Studio 3d max fully.)
v@Monele: I am thinking about using 3d to visualize the model beforehand and pose the animation, but stick to basic for the cg. I will have to see how it works.
v@Nafai: Glad to hear that, since I have doubts that the headgear might not be possible implemented.
