Re: Of Dragon Scales and Trials
Saw the logo on your deviantart earlier today; I was wondering what it was about.
It looks like you've got a nice story planned, and I wish you luck *tips hat*. The main menu looks nice so far, too. I'll bet the redone character images will good too!
Question, though: Creed looks like a human on the main menu, so does that mean that dragons have completely become human during your story line? Or perhaps they take on human form at a certain age? I'm curious.
I also saw that you plan to have a terminology section on the main menu, which means that players might be introduced to unfamiliar words and phrases during the game. Instead of making people go to check the dictionary at the main menu or having the characters explain the word/phrase when it's introduced, you might want to consider that, when the character says a word, it can be clickable in the textbox. Then, you can have a little window pop up with an explanation of the word, which means people can see what the word means immediately along with being able to look at it later in the terminology section. More info here and here. Of course, if you were already planning on doing that, feel free to ignore what I just said.

You might ask yourself: If I could only save one paragraph of the work I'm writing, which one would I save?
Which one would I let go first?
