Some answers to the questions:
PhoenixStardust wrote:1. Would you like to have choices/interactivity in this? If so, to what extent?
Since it's going to be short, I wouldn't put choices. However, if you want to(for example) show a feeling of helplessness by having all choices result in the same thing(i.e asking a doctor "Who are you?" "Why am I here?" or "When can I go home? I miss my cat." all result in the doctor saying "Please wait until a personal therapist comes to assist you." or something) then that would be fine.
PhoenixStardust wrote:2. What are your feelings about a semi-autobiographical Visual Novel?
Well, semi-autobiographical means that you'll have more of yourself in this VN, which can give it an open, honest feel. This also means, though, that you'll probably get more angry/insulted when people don't like your game. So, keep in mind that it's a bit of a tradeoff.

I know you said
PhoenixStardust wrote:"Static" means actual static. P:
above, but by that do you mean TV static? Static can also mean "unchanging" or "unmoving", and, when applied to a character, it can mean "a person who's unwilling to change". So, depending on the story you're going to tell, the word "static" can be a metaphor for something.
Also, I'm a bit curious about why the "i" in "STATiC" is lowercase. Is it because you/the protag didn't feel that the mental institution gave enough attention to individual people?
Hope you get this out soon! You'll finally get a completed game under your belt, yay!
