Genre: BxB?, Psychological, Horror
Story:
An experimental visual novel about giving commands, brainwashing, and mind control.
They gave you complete authority over this fabricated human, free to shape him in any way that suited you- as long as he was loyal to (name to be determined) that is.

You play as a unknown male character, who works for a military funded research facility, and has been working here for a very long time. Little is known about their practices except for the fact that many of their employees spend most of their time within the facility. You are assigned a series of tasks within the lab including enhancing the efficiency of a solider and convincing him to partake in dangerous experiments to increase his efficiency, and naturalize a fabricated human into society while keeping loyal to the company that commissioned you.

The premise of the game is that you control the actions of others, instead of controlling your actions. As you yourself are unable to speak, from a condition within the lab.

You do this by sending your thoughts via a telepathic device you are in control of.

Many of the people you are assigned to "fix" have the necessary chip implanted in them to be able for you to make the connection to control their actions. Unfortunately a person's will can prove a barrier to your influence, as individuals with stronger wills are least likely to get influenced. On the other hand the more psychologically damaged or trusting an individual is the more likely you are able to control them.

The game runs on a simple system:

You are in a security room, with access to cameras, which allow you to look at the actions of the characters you're controlling and a means to see how they respond to your actions.

The player is then given a option on what type of commands they want to give to the character they are interacting with.

These range from physically hurting oneself, feeling a sense of warmth and love, killing another, reading, and a series of other actions. Actions can be repeated as many as times as the player wants, and should trigger different responses.Your actions shape your character and the perception of that character to others. Are you a sadistic individual who tortures those under them, are you manipulative, or are you kind hearted and benevolent and feel the need to help those under you?

The Project-- A fabricated human made in the facility, who is incapable of human speech and normative social actions, having been recently created. Being a literal blank slate, you are assigned to naturalize him into society, and to increase his efficiency and loyalty to the research facility. Unfortunately he begins to develop his own mind and a budding free will that will prove a barrier to your attempts of control, and consequences to your character if you mistreat him.

Your Boss- Not much is known about him, except that your character describes him as a tightass, and a man who is very controlling. You are trying to win his favor to increase your position. All you are aware of is the fact he checks your progress every couple of days, and that there are dire consequences for you if you are unable to meet his standards.

I have a lot of the art done for this, so there is a high chance this will be completed. AS this was project that was originally intended for NaNoWinter. As you can tell this game is not meant to be pretty or sweet, there's a lot of moral gray areas, and I really wanted to give players the opportunity shape their character's destiny, and feel like whatever actions they took are true how they played their character.

I understand your pain. As a newbie, I'm stuck with the same problem. I love captives stories.
