This sounds like it'll be really fun! I can't really think of anything that I don't want to see at the moment. And I don't know if I have a favorite character yet---I'm most interested in the Bones family dynamic, and in what ways it's upended by Lark.

I'm quite interested by this project. (and with this I answers the first question without even paying attention)

2. What kind of things do you want and do absolutely not want to see?
Nothing in particuliar, I'm interested by the interactions between the characters and their way of "living" their differences.
I'd also like to have a good laugh during my playthrough which seems to be an objective of this game too.

3. Other extra features that you think might make things more enjoyable or just generally be pretty neat?
I don't know =D ! *stupid notice of the day*

4. Who's your favourite character so far?
I think I'll have to select two : Milk and James. What a pretty amazing family we have here.

It seems like a refreshing idea and I agree that a minimalist GUI should be more accurate with the theme (and the flesh on the characters).
I also like a lot your main menu.
