Wow. Almost three years have passed since my last update. Would you believe it, A Circus Tale has been shelved because I lost interest. That happens pretty often, I gather. When I found this thread again the story hit me like a ton of bricks and I remembered all the time I spent coming up with a feasible plot and character outlines even before any artwork was started - and artwork is my strong point! *sigh*
Even though I have to work full time and have other interests my mind floated back to visual novels recently - maybe it's because I read too much manga. Anyway, I was watching Gundam Unicorn and got an urge to create a short science fiction game for fun. Hopefully it will result in something being released this time around.

there once was a young King;
pampered and spoiled;
who loved most among things;
one traveling show.
A Circus Tale is about love.
The story starts in the middle of a special performance. How the performance ends will depend on your decisions. At this time, there are ten characters involved and the events will unfold in a single location.
Progress:
- Decided on a premise (reluctantly)
- Established character relations
- Character names
- Decided on a plot
Things to do:
- Rough script
- Character designs
- Storyboards
- Locations and prop designs
More details to follow.

When drawing something, anything, USE REFERENCES!! Use your Google-fu!
Don't trust your memory, and don't blindly trust what others teach you either.
Research, observation, analysis, experimentation and practice are the key! (:
