Comic Strip: Artist wanted

The other day an old pal of mine called me, and said he had a concept for a comic strip ready. He had allready scripted a couple of dozent strips and was now looking for an artist preferably in manga style.

So i immedeatly thought of you guys (-:

I also have a good friend who owns a medium sized Newspaper (circulation German Edition 20.000, it also has english and asian editions with a bigger circulation - but in the beginning it's only gonna be for the german edition).

His concepts are all in German, and we plan to make the strips in german and english as well. But i am gonna take care of all the translation stuff, so you don't have to worry about nothin.
But i can't gurantee you money. If it's gonna be any good, the newspaper will publish it, but at the beginning we won't get money. If in the future we do get money, than we'll share it equally.

So if ya interested, than send me a Private Messege. The comic strip is gonna be based on a real person that ma pal an i both know (of course we changed her name and the specifics an all). But anyway she is ya typical NEET and Manga/Anime Otaku. She spends 16 hours a day on the computer and watching Shounen Anime. She never opens her window blinds. She never sets a foot outside the door, except when she is really starting starve. She never talks to anyone except in Chaatrooms. A chatroom is also the place where she met her boyfriend (who is a Hippie and more than twice as old as she).

So anyway me and the author tried to help her snap out of her NEET live, and ran into all kinds of funny situation that he is now putting onto paper. And i think it has potential. I am gonna try attach a Zip-Folder with some of his concepts. But of course right now it's still in German, but of course i am gonna translate it, so it's no problem if ya don't speak german.

So as i said, if anyone is interested, just send me a private messege. Ya style should be Manga, but it doesn't have to be. You don't have to be a great artist, it's enough if you can depict simple situations in a recognizable way. If the German paper prints it, ya can put the name of ya website or whatever on the bottom of each strip and if ya want i can get ya as many issues of each copy as ya want (-: If ya have a business, we can also run ya free ads in the paper.)

i hope i didn't make this sound like a lot of work. It's really just gonna be 1 or 2 strips a month.
