Agreed :). It sounds lighthearted, self-referential and... well... just fun :). Neat art too ^^

Yay, that's cool :) I really like "genre savvy" stories, which this definitely is. Your art style is very cute. And I do love me some childhood friends and tsunderekko :) So go for it!

As we often say to first-time game makers here, don't be afraid of making the game smaller than you might want to; be very cautious of perfectionism and the urge to explore all possible routes. Games with lots of different endings (including platonic endings) can end up ballooning out of control... and remember your audience would rather play a smaller game than never get to play a game which would be perfect but never got finished.

So go for it, cause you've got a really fun idea here: I want to play it! :lol:
I released 3 VNs, many moons ago: Elven Relations (IntRenAiMo 2007), When I Rule The World (NaNoRenO 2005), and Cloud Fairy (the Cute Light & Fluffy Project, 2009).
More recently I designed the board game Steam Works (published in 2015), available from a local gaming store near you!

Well. I was going to put a nice little comment here when I saw the plot. It's very cute and entertaining.

And now I'm twice as excited because there's BL options! [clings]
At least I hope. You've got two girls and two boys there, four endings (plus a bad one) to get.
[dramatic sigh] I can't wait.

You're doing this all by yourself? I commend thee.

@Chrono:

Good goddamn, I love that wiki. Most tropers are young nerds, they say? I'll be the first to back the statement. =D

Thanks for the advice, buddy (I can call you buddy, right?) I appreciate it. Since I'm a writer/artist, not a coder, a couple things may end up being cut out when everything it said and done. (You can tell I'm a bit intimidated. Hehe.)

@Sinister:

Haha, thanks for the enthusiasm. =D
Yes, BL endings available. I hafta secure my female audience, y'know?
That, and most of the female friends who know I'm working on this are BL fangirls.
I'm practically obliged to cater to 'em. Hehe. =P

*cough*
About doing this 'all by myself'...
I don't have a formal team, but I'm not exactly all alone in the universe.
I have writer pals who helped me with the story and such when I got stuck.
The art's all mine, though -- hence the lacking quality.
Glad you're excited! ☺

@The Rest:

Thanks for your support.
My appreciation for you is 9000+ !!

Curse you people with artistic talents. You people tear into your own work so much that it makes my scribbles seem that much worse. :| Please, think of the scribblers.

You know, I'm not a fan of BL, like, at all, but I'm so interested in the story that at this point, I could easily see myself going down the BL routes anyways. I guess we'll see once you release.

I defiantly dig the whole fantasy/otaku retrospective theme. Have you watched "welcome to the nhk" anime? It has a whole otaku insight facet thing going plus a bit of the story is about dating sims. Its the reason I started to write one.

you shoudln't down yourself. Your art is functional.

Gonbatte!

@Mistik

Yeah, I checked that out. Great fun.

Thanks!

@North Hawk

I'm not much of a BL fan myself, actually.
But hey, if it'll rope in the ladies, then...
::grin::

And I'm sure your art isn't /that/ bad.
If you think I'm okay, we're probably on par with one another.

[drools]

Tell me that sandman has an ending, plz. :wink:
He's uber-smexy for a 2D make-believe character.

The outfits are real simple, and I think that's nice. It goes with your style of art.
[thumbs up]

Oh, and Brione's boob is overflowing on her arm. :mrgreen:
I thought that was funny.

Haha, that's the first time anyone's said that to me.
Maybe I have a future in otome games?
Rofl. Jk.

Also, now that I think about her huge overflowy breast, it IS kinda funny. xD
