Blue Lemma said that he was offering anybody the opportunity to send in a script and he'd turn it into a game. That's how I got MetroBlues "in the making". So while the script is mine, it's a LemmaSoft game.

Shouldn't the CWDS team finish their own project first?

Well, technically CWDS' project would not be hindered by FoxTailes...provided he isn't using our artists...

Engine.
He is only using our engine. Our still-in-development-yet-to-dub-a-name engine.

For now, we're thinking of dubbing it something...I suggest an acronym. And preferably a unique or easy-to-remember one.

So so... interesting yet again. But enough of this. I guess it doesn't matter who is working with who, as long as projects are completed. Good luck to you guys in managing the thing.

I also have an artist now - she's currently working on the character sketches, and as soon as we have something to show, we'll do so. The game engine is getting along fine, too. Don't expect us to have the project finished before summer - it's a long project, and we're not doing this for commercial release but for fun, so it all depends on how much time we have.

We still need a background artist, but I can promise that we'll be needing ten or less BG scenes. Plus a title screen. Anyone interested?

My one cent: I would imagine bamboo forest being a bunch of green sticks. That looks like regular forest to me. What do you think?

You're right, RedSlash... these stalks are a little... crooked for bamboo. I was looking for something a little... well, cleaner than that. Take, for example, this image I'm stealing from ClearWind:

You don't need to submit that kind of detail, but I'd like to see that level of cleanliness. Make your artwork look more than scribbles.

Is that an actual shot from CWDS's game? Because if so... wow.

(If not, you might want to trim out the jpeg comment that says it is. :-) )

No. That's SOZAI (reference material) from our site.

This is...if you've watched AIR...the shopping street by the coast.

And regarding our BG...we're actually around F&C's level. Go play some F&C games (e.g. Canvas) and you'll know. I've specified a style similar to that.

Our artist can CG.

Ah yes, I knew I recognized the scene somewhere.

F&C, huh. I guess that already enough for me to give it a "wow". Screenshots, please!

Our BG artist is a nag of a perfectionist...-_-*

The ceiling for our kitchen BG is a little too high..need to fix it...so yeah...unless you want to see a REALLY BAD version...no.t yet...

I think the pict is a much better improvement over the last one. This time around, it clearly looks like a bamboo forest. I'm rating this one thumbs up!
