I noticed that a new alpha has been uploaded to the website. Unfortunately, the site informs me that I don't have permission to access the file. Is anyone else having this problem?

I think I'll shortly be ready for private alpha testers to take a look at the next chunk of the game - so anyone who wants to poke it should send me a PM with the platforms they want to test it on. (I suspect that it won't be playable on the iLiad, and I believe that the screen size will be wrong for Maemo smartphones, but if anyone's masochistic enough to want to try to test it on either, I can try to make builds for them.)

Right after I started uploading 0.6.10, I realized that the lose -> Greater Slirrup bug was not related to the bug I thought I'd fixed around 0.5.30. So I ran off to fix that, secure in the knowledge that I hadn't yet announced 0.6.10. *grin*

Anyhow, 0.6.11 should be accessible now, and includes a raft of bugfixes and tweaks. It will probably explode if you try to load 0.5.x savegames from it, though. While I've done more levels, they'll only be available in the private alphas (at least for now).

That was great... are you going to 'Hentai' it up ?... that would be even better...

I hope that's just a joke... SG has a great premise and (so far) good execution, it would be really sad if it's turned to just another tentacle-fest

Heh, and here I was thinking everyone would be disappointed when I admitted that Science Girls wasn't hentai. No, madquest8 will need to make their own doujin game if they want hentai Science Girls. (... am I going to regret saying that?)

I like the improvements you made on the game, it makes the demo flow more naturally and the dialogue seems fresh and clean. I also liked the extra background you put in the story, especially the explain behind the glasses. The game overall seemed better, I even almost died at one point.

One question though, is this game over the second they leave the school?

I've been trying to scare them into staying in school by putting boss monsters in the way of their escape

But that doesn't seem to have stopped them.

Worse, they've started attempting to shut off the alien invasion

And to top matters off, now they're loose on the world map (with occasional digressions into tunnels, and tying down PyTom to torture him with obscure bugs... and while my back was turned I think they're getting ready to try to break, er, test 6.9.1d.

Ah no last time I played had chars up to lvl 4-5 I think...I was stuck in a bug and the old savegame wasn't working with the new beta version, so I should have restarted it from beginning!
(and I wanted to release Spirited Heart before summer)!

Yep, the worldmaps are a walkable tile-based outdoor environment. (Significantly larger than the screen, though, for sanity's sake individual levels on the worldmap are generally under 50x70 or so)
