I don't think there's a need to have too many extras. I imagined that "About the project" would be a paragraph that explained how this came to be (i.e. "AngelicCarrot posted a thread demanding more cute things, everyone agreed, and then this project was born"). And I figured "About the Stories" would be something like one paragraph per story where someone said something like "This was inspired by real life events!" or whatever.

Coatl, if you posted something and you have something to add to it, I heartily recommend using the "Edit" option and adding whatever you have to say to your post rather than posting more than once in a row. Multiple posts by the same person all in a row can make things really confusing.

I'd dial it back from "Turbo-weaboo" mode. I'm not sure that gratuitous Japanese in the menus will make this game appeal to anybody.

I agree a bit with that one. You do want a cute menu, but I'd go with something a bit simpler instead of having the cuteness being jammed in your eyes. lol

I can't say that I'm in waiting mode, with all Ren'py VN's & KN' begging to be played in my ~/opt directory ;) but surely when came out, I'll surely put it high in the pipeline

Best regards from Italy,

*Pokes thread to remind everyone*

I haven't seen Megaman in quite a while, now I'm worried about project status... I believe everyone's project is completed... all we need now is to compile everything...

Other than GUI... I am still wondering what's taking us so long?

According to my outbox, Megaman Z hasn't even received our project yet.

And were we going to go with things like commentary and about the project, or did we decide to drop that?

Compiling I imagine would take some time, and I think it'd be difficult if you don't have a GUI to tie it all together. As for GUI, I've been drawing up something a tad less weaboo. The graphics for that should be done in the near future. As for the commentary page, I haven't heard a single dissenting opinion, so I take that as a green light. I agree we've made a good deal of progress, but I don't believe it'll be ready to release for some time yet. (This of course is speculation seeing as I can't accurately track any progress except my own. What happened to Akemicchi ;_;?)
For my next project I'm going to need a working toilet, a pair of pliers, a jar of cheez-whiz spread, 100 q-tips, a TV remote, a gearshift lever and a whole lot of duct tape. This is gonna be awesome.

Behold... Progress!

Here's a mockup of a simple main menu I did. I can put together the submenus a bit later.

Sorry if it was kind of late, but I've been tied up with meeting relatives I wasn't aware existed.

As an interested third party, I'd mention that this looks very nice, but is kind of hard to read. Any way you can make the text in the buttons darker or add a dark outline to make them more readable to those of us with older eyes?

Thanks!
Working on something... might even be something good :D

Wow, that's really bright. I seriously can't look at it for more than a second.

Looks nice, but I sort of don't like that font for the title. Maybe removing the underline would help too...
