[There will be a lot of absurd/crazy/gory deaths that might make your stomach churn or just don’t make a lot of sense...]

Story

As a handsome and young bachelor, life has blessed you in many ways. Until that fateful night on your birthday...you were brutally murdered. Only to wake up and find out that it was a dream...or was it? Every week, the same interactions happen and every night on your birthday you are murdered. Over and over and over again. There's only one way to wake you up from this nightmare and that's finding out who your killer is and kill first before it kills you again. Uncover the secrets to your killer before it's too late since you may end up actually dying...forever.

Game Mechanics (In progress)
Game mechanics subject to change...
Lots and lots of bad endings from death.
-Different possible ways to die every day so be wary.
-Different possible ways to kill the killer starting week 4. Week 5 is end game.

The Stamina bar
You, the player will have a stamina bar. It indicates how much strength you can use to fight against your opponent. When it runs low you will need to wait a few seconds before the gauge fills up again.

Stats
There will be two main stats that will overall determine your different romantic endings:
Two different endings for each bachelorette [if] survives default bad end. Needs good end to obtain either good or bad end for romantic partner. (Note that some partners may prefer a trait over the other.)
Bad Egg (Jerk Level)
Good Egg (Kindness Level)

Friendship/Relationship Stats
There will be a stat bar for each character. Raising affection for each character(s) will increase your chances of survival towards a happy ending.

The Inventory
???

Characters
More characters will be added in the near future...

Finn
Suspect Background: The main character of the game. You come from a rich family that owns several well known hotels. All your life, you have been entitled to do whatever you please. To sum it up, you are a complete asshole which explains the dire situation you have gotten yourself into.
Status: Fuckboy
Personality: Jerk, Rude, Athletic, Humorous

Tyllonus
Suspect Background: Tyllonus has been your friend ever since high school. He's can get along with just about anyone.
Status: Ultimate Wingman
Personality: Laid-back, Caring, Nice, Talkative
Relationship: Your best friend and roommate. He's someone you can always count on.

Kirk
Suspect Background: Kirk has always been teased for his weight. Instead of overcoming it in a positive way, he has been trapped in this bubble. He tries hard to make a lot of friends and often times, gets taken advantage of.
Status: The D.U.F.F (Designated Ugly Fat Friend)
Personality: Push over, Quiet, Loyal,
Relationship: Kirk is someone who can't stand up for himself and your other roommate. You both hate each other but he makes you look good so you keep him around.

Colette
Suspect Background: Colette is relatively shy and has an uncontrollable stuttering issue. She's highly intelligent and loves to kiss up to the teachers for a good grade. She hates when people ask her to copy her notes or homework but you are an exception...
Status: Teacher's Pet (Goody two shoes)
Personality: Bookworm, Shy, Cheerful
Relationship: You're only nice to her because she lets you copy her homework and cheat on exams. Outside of history class, you act like she doesn't exist.

Raven
Suspect Background: Raven is somewhat antisocial. She hates crowds and enjoys watching horror movies. There’s also a huge obsession with weapons she that she has...
Status: President for “Keeping it reel club” (The club is a facade for it’s real use: illegal importing of weapons)
Personality: Straightforward, Oddball,
Relationship: Raven is famous for her beauty around the campus. You’ve tried talking to her once in hopes of sleeping with her but she creeped the hell out of you. That was the end of that.

Bad Egg (Jerk Level)
Good Egg (Kindness Level)
This is intriguing. It sounds like the reader is asked to think "how should the protagonist act in order to survive?" as well as "how should the protagonist act in order to build a relationship?"

I often assume that building positive relationships with NPCs will lead to positive results. More allies = better chance to succeed. Then again, it may be wise to add some vague choices and ambiguity. Sometimes the protagonist might benefit by acting selfish or greedy.

I sometimes like a protagonist who begins the story with an established personality. It seems fascinating if he will start out being difficult to like, or trying to redeem himself.

Your premise leads me to assume that he has a hidden side, or complex motivations.

Yes positive relationships will have positive results and may even affect the chances of survival like better weapons, information on the killer, etc based on other character's skills. [Some characters might not benefit you at all and if chosen to hang out with them, it drives away from building stats to the important characters. This is currently being debated if I want to purposely trick players and waste their time.]

What do you mean by the protagonist benefiting from acting selfish/greedy?
